We were so impressed by all your 'Calls to Action' from World AIDS Day 2011 that we want to show the world's leaders that LOTS of young people are behind this cause. So we've made an HIV360º petition that brings together the main themes from all your 'Calls'.
We'd love you to print it out and take it round your school at break-times or form-times to collect loads of signatures from other students! Then send it in to us at the address below.
You and your school can take part in this petition throughout 2012!
We will collect together all your petitions and give them to policymakers on the next World AIDS Day (Dec 1st 2012) so please make sure yours arrive at our office no later that November 30th 2012!
Download your petition here: Download file:HIV360º Petition (pdf)
Send your petitions to us at this address: Rafi.ki Team, Gemin-i, Unit 4.08 Bow Business Centre, 153-159 Bow Road, London, E3 2SE, U.K.
If you can't take the petition round your school then add your name to this pledge instead!
Pledge: World AIDS Day Petition
World leaders promised to reverse the spread of HIV by 2015 and achieve universal access to treatment by 2010. In reality 9.8 million people still cannot access treatment. Young people involved with HIV360º have called on policy makers around the world to address 3 issues: • Access to treatment for everyone living with HIV or AIDS • Comprehensive education about HIV and AIDS available to everyone in school • An end to stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. Add your name if you think the same!
20 individuals from 7 countries have taken the pledge
